The Bursary Covers

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the SITA Bursary, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- South African Citizenship: Applicants must be South African citizens, passionate about contributing to the nation’s ICT landscape.
- Matric Completion: Successful completion of Matric in 2023 is a prerequisite for bursary consideration, showcasing academic diligence and readiness for higher education.
- Full-Time Study: Applicants must intend to study full-time towards a degree (NQF level 7) in one of the following qualifications:
- BSc Computer Science
- BSc Cyber Security
- BSc Computer Science and Informatics with Artificial Intelligence
- BSc Information Technology
- Must have been accepted/registered to study at a recognized public tertiary institute within South Africa
- Must have passed Matric with an average of 70%
