Position

Digital Content Creator at the BMA, you will play a crucial role in designing and producing captivating digital and print content to support the agency’s mission. From website design and editing to multimedia creation and gamification, you will be at the forefront of developing engaging materials that inform and inspire our audience. This twelve-month internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Requirements

To be eligible for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possession of a Grade 12 Certificate
  • Minimum three-year qualification (NQF level 6 or 7) in Graphic Design or related field
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools and multimedia software
  • Knowledge of website and social media platforms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of digital technology and content creation best practices

Duties and Responsibilities

As an Intern: Digital Content Creator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and creating innovative digital and print content for the BMA
  • Website design, editing, and maintenance
  • Editing online and printed materials for clarity and effectiveness
  • Developing multimedia and gamification designs to enhance user engagement
  • Conceptualizing ideas for graphics and visual storytelling
  • Creating design briefs and executing designs and infographics
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
  • Producing design videos to support communication initiatives
