SITA Internship Programme 2024, situated within the Western Cape, offers a comprehensive training experience designed to equip interns with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in various ICT roles. With a stipend of R 6,500 per month and a duration of 12 months, this programme serves as a gateway to potential employment within critical positions at SITA.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the SITA Internship Programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Unemployed South African citizens between 18 and 35 years old
  • Holders of a Bachelor’s degree or 3-year National Diploma in ICT or relevant field at NQF level 6
  • No prior working experience required
  • Individuals with disabilities, as well as candidates from diverse racial backgrounds including Whites, Colored, and Indians, are encouraged to apply.

  • Applicants with foreign qualifications must have them evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
