Job Description
As an Artisan Foreman Grade A: Civil, you will be responsible for supervising the technical design and production of civil technical services. Your duties will include:
- Supervising and producing designs according to specifications and production capability limits.
- Repairing civil structures and facilities to standards and specifications.
- Performing administrative functions such as updating fault registers and compiling reports.
- Ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations.
- Human capital resource management, including supervising and mentoring staff.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications and experience:
- A Civil trade test certificate.
- Five years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan.
- A valid unexpired driver’s license.
- Knowledge of legal compliance and technical analysis.
- Proficiency in computer-aided applications and technical report writing.
- Strong team leadership and production skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Project management, planning, organizing, and execution skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout South Africa for duty execution.
