RCL Food is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Cashier to join our team in Thohoyandou, Limpopo . Reporting to the Cash Book Clerk, the Cashier will play a crucial role in our operations by receiving cash from Drivers and ensuring accurate bank deposits daily. Cashier Wanted at RCL Food.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 with Accounting or Math
- Tertiary qualification will be an added advantage
- 2 years of cashiers/banking experience as well as general office experience
Key Responsibilities
Cash Deposits
- Receive all cash deposits from Drivers.
- Make up bank deposits.
Cash Handling
- Count cash received from drivers and balance with deposit slip.
- Record cash in cash up summary.
- Prepare deposit for the bank.
- Record seal numbers in the register.
Security Measures
- Keep the cash office door locked at all times.
- No authorized person allowed.
- Lock cash in safe overnight.
- Previous day’s takings to be removed from the premises by 11:00 am next day.
