Beyers Naude Local Municipality is currently seeking applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Clerk: Data Capturer. This is a permanent position with a salary scale ranging from R130,603 to R168,648 per annum. Clerk: Data Capturer Position.
Qualifications and Experience Required

- Office Administration qualification
- Advanced computer literacy
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
Core Responsibilities
The Clerk: Data Capturer will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Checking the accuracy of details recorded on transactional documentation
- Updating work in progress information/data on specific applications/systems
- Receiving data documentation and applying specific procedures to import data
- Converting data/information using application tools and procedures
- Assessing relevant fields and capturing data
- Checking and validating entries
- Providing administrative support to organizations and businesses
- Communicating with technicians, consultants, and authorities
- Maintaining and accessing records of transactional processes
- Processing work orders, timesheets, and transport log sheets
- Reporting problems to the Supervisor
- Updating files with current information
- Compiling statistical data
- Attending to sequences for archiving and disposal of records
- Registering all labour-intensive Projects in EPWP IRS system
- Retrieving monthly reports and submitting them to relevant authorities
- Applying specific sequences associated with initiating and completing electronic back-up of information
- Gathering background information on queries for management purposes
- Capturing and retrieving information for MIG funds, payments, and additional fund applications
- Communicating with technicians, consultants, and authorities pertaining to Database information
- Communicating between technical staff and finance section for all works order related queries
- Communicating with Supply Chain Officer for buying/purchasing of PMU Movable assets & Stationary
- Reporting all problems encountered to the PMYU Coordinator and complying with specific sequences associated with the Supply Chain Management procedures
