Essential Requirements for the Position
To be considered for the Armed Response Officer position at Fidelity ADT, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: Candidates must possess a Matric certificate.
- PSIRA Accreditation: A Grade B PSIRA accreditation and registration with Response is mandatory.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the security industry is required.
- Criminal Record: Candidates must have a clean criminal record and be willing to undergo regular criminal checks.
- Physical Fitness: Candidates must be physically fit, in good health, and not afraid of heights.
- Computer Literacy: While not mandatory, computer literacy is considered an advantage.
- Residential Experience: Experience in estate or residential security is essential.
- Location: Candidates must reside within traveling distance to the site in Soweto.
- Firearm Competency: Proficiency in handling a handgun for business purposes is required.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Detailed Job Responsibilities
Security and Surveillance
