A vacancy for the position of Revenue Clerk at our Regional Office in Western Cape, Cape Town. The role reports directly to the Billing Manager and is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and accountability of all revenue movements across our operational branches. Revenue Clerk Opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Management and Documentation
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving instructions via sales orders, memos, and emails to load and raise revenue promptly for all new and existing contracts. This includes:
- Contract Amendments: Handling all amendments, increases, and terminations of contracts.
- Posting Sheets: Generating, printing, and distributing posting sheets for the branches.
- Invoicing: Ensuring monthly invoicing and credits are loaded accurately and on time.
- Query Resolution: Addressing and resolving all queries related to completed posting sheets for the Payroll Department.
- Reporting: Preparing and submitting weekly and month-end reports.
Communication and Support
- Branch Support: Maintaining constant communication with branches to resolve any billing-related issues.
- Supervisor Assistance: Providing support to the Revenue Supervisor as needed.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Educational Background
- Minimum Requirements: Matric Certificate.
- Preferred: Post Matric qualifications relevant to the role.
Technical Skills
- SAP Knowledge: Advantageous for the role.
- Debtors, Credits, and Reconciliation: Comprehensive knowledge in these areas is beneficial.
- MS Excel Proficiency: Essential for the role.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in various computer applications.
