Role Summary

As a Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee the efficient operation of the dispensary and clinic, ensuring superior service delivery and adherence to compliance standards. Key Responsibilities

Deliver High Standards of Pharmaceutical Care

  • Ensure accurate dispensing of medications, including generic substitutions, adhering to SAPC guidelines and Good Pharmacy Practice.
  • Provide expert advice to patients, enhancing their understanding of medications and treatments.

Operational Management

  • Implement best practices for stock management, minimizing shrinkage and ensuring product availability.
  • Maintain compliance with SAPC regulations and internal company policies.

Financial Oversight

  • Monitor the dispensary’s financial performance, focusing on meeting core clinic and dispensary targets.
  • Develop strategies to manage expenses while maximizing profitability.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Facilitate the training and development of interns and learners to build future capabilities.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Drive initiatives that enhance the patient experience, ensuring loyalty and high club card participation.
  • Partner with the healthcare aisle and clinic teams to deliver a comprehensive healthcare solution.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Stay updated with labor legislation, ensuring compliant staff scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Mitigate risks through adherence to ethical and legal practices.
